As another year comes to an end, new changes are also on the way. As you probably know already, Joomla 3.0 was released in Sep 2012 as a development release. While no one is expected to upgrade to Joomla 3.0 if you are already on 2.5, we decided to make things easier for the new users who would want to go for Joomla 3.0 straightaway. was chosen Best Web Tool 2012 by WHS

Kulendra.Net have been in the web business for nearly seven years now. We started off by taking up outsourced web design/development work from international clients. When time permitted, we also took up various projects which dealt specifically with extension development in Joomla and Wordpress. Sometime after we moved completely in to a product development company. And the best reward we could get is not just the money ;)

Quite recently we received the following citation from

"Kulendra.Net was recently recognized as one of the Best Web Tools in 2012 by This recognition justifies the dedication of the Kulendra.Net Team to provide us the best CMS Extensions that fits our needs. Kudos and more power to you guys!"

We are quite enthralled! Winning the Best Web Tools award for 2012 from as a recommended web tool is no trivial recognition. We are quite happy about this award and we would like to thank and wish for all the great work!

Open Source Matters, the organisation behind Joomla! released the version 2.5.0 of Joomla 10 days back. The new release cycle introduced by OSM last year caused much discussion among the open source community and well to be quite frank, the new 2.5.0 has added more fuel to the "discussions". But it is not as bad as it looks. No really, it is not bad at all.

Usually the new year's eve is a place for new resolutions and new hopes. In that light, we are quite happy and proud that we actually managed to kick off the new year with a realised resolution, a whole new product and quite a good one as we think of it; We are quite proud to announce the first product for the year of 2012 by Kulendra.Net, kBanners4SobiPro, the ultimate banner manager for SobiPro.

Open Source Matters (the organization behind Joomla! CMS) announced early this year that Joomla 1.6 was going to be out this year and we got the first stable release somewhere around Jan 2011. Everything as per the plan. But what did come as a surprise was that OSM was releasing Joomla 1.7 within the year as well. And then a Joomla 1.8 later. Later but not very late.

In any marketing campaign, taking your campaign to the target audience is one of the most important factors of success. Has geo-targeting ever been something that defines that target audience? And have you been wondering how to target your banner campaign based on where the visitors are based on? Then your wait is over, two extensions from, kBanners4Joomla and  Geolok , are meant to do exactly that!

So you've installed SobiPro on your system and now looking to see how you can enhance displaying the items from SobiPro. Needless to say, one of the first functionalities you would want to have is to set up Featured Items. If you've been wondering whether you can set up items as Featured Items in SobiPro and whehter there is a way to display them, then you've come to the right place. This article describes how one can easily configure SobiPro and Custom List 4 Sobi Pro, a module that allows you to list Sobi Pro entries based on any criteria to set up and display Featured Items in SobiPro in two basic steps.

We are quite proud to announce that Custom List 4 Sobi Pro, the all in one module that can act as a Featured Items Module, Latest Items Module and a Custom Filtered List Module. The extension is available for Joomla 1.5 as well as Joomla 1.6.

We are quite proud to announce one of the first (if not the very first) 3DP extension for SobiPro, LatestItems4SobiPro! As the name implies, LatestItems4SobiPro is a module for SobiPro which displays the latest items from a category and its sub-categories or from an entire section.

Fulfilling one of our targets for this year we are proud to announce that we have released Geolok, a visitor geolocation extension for Joomla that allows you to target content and banners based on user location and user status.
